halftime beyonce*Despite the short lived Destiny’s Child ‘reunion’ at the halftime show during the Super Bowl, the ladies rocked it and even boosted sales of their old music.

This could mean something for their future together, right? Probably not, but DC lovers would sure hope so.

According to MTV.com, the trio’s “The Writing’s On The Wall” (#97) and “Love Songs” (#99), “Destiny Fulfilled” (#166) and their 2001 album “Survivor” (#195) all saw jumps on iTunes.

But of course Bey saw the biggest profit with 16 of her chart topping songs blowing up on iTunes, including “Halo” (#17), “Single Ladies” (#39), and “Run the World” (#129). “Dangerously In Love” (#45) also saw a boost in sales.

This year’s Super Bowl garnered the highest ratings in history. That could partially explain the jump.

And a little birdie told Us Magazine that the show wasn’t everything it was supposed to be. Allegedly Bey cut out some of D.C.’s greatest hits last minute. … Interesting.
