*Actor, revived wrestler and signature sexy man Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned to his original showbiz platform with WWE and won the championship for the eighth time at the Royal Rumble.
He first returned as the host of Wrestle Mania XXVII, but later came out and defeated C.M. Punk in a sold out arena in Phoenix, Ariz.
So even in his 40-year-old age, he’s the new people’s champ. But he’ll have to defend his title on April 7th against superstar John Cena.
The Rock has certainly evolved over time and allowed his career to transform into something much more and beyond wrestling. He’s become a film and television star, and not a bad one at that.
