*More info about the paternity suit filed against Michael Jordan is coming out.
Pamela Smith, the alleged baby mama says she never planned to file the suit against Jordan, but her 16-year-old son pleaded with her to make his (alleged) daddy acknowledge paternity.
As we reported, Pamela Smith is suing the NBA legend for paternity and child support, claiming he got her pregnant in 1995, while he was still married to Juanita Vanoy.
Sources close to Smith tell TMZ that she’s always had a good relationship with Michael and doesn’t need the money to support herself. But we’re told her son — Grant Reynolds (a.k.a Taj) — desperately wants MJ to acknowledge him as his son, so HE begged his mom to file the docs.
We’re told Pamela’s intention was never to “call Michael out” — the lawsuit is simply so her 16-year-old son can have his real (alleged) father be a bigger part of his life.
Apparently MJ and Taj even met up a few times over the years and Pamela claims Michael has given the family money and gifts here and there, but the alleged love child always had to keep it a secret.

Well, if Gloria Allred holds a press conference with the mother and son this week, we know there might be a strong possibility but until then, I can’t see Michael Jordan making a dumb ass move like that. He’s extremely smart and you never heard of any white girls trying to collect coins or sneakers from him so, maybe their doing this to get some extra money…I can’t see Michael Jordan being that stupid NOT to take care business and with all that money, I’m sure he would have a tight confidentiality agreement, not to go public.
I hope Mike proceeds with a DNA test. I’m sure he will do the right thing if this young man is his son but if not, he needs to countersue this woman. A person who is truly sincere with bringing closure should have done this a long time ago and would not go publicly to seek attention. Her motives are very questionable.

…what is confusing is that it was written that Taj actually had a relationship with MJ? If so? TaJ has always known or told that MJ was his bio-daddy but MJ has never acknowledged TaJ? Doesn’t make sense at all and MJ has always been a stand-up MAN..
