Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds
*Michael Jordan has been sued by a woman who claims he fathered her 16-year-old son, and she’s just now requesting a paternity test to prove it.
Pamela Smith claims she became pregnant after having sex with Jordan in 1995, according to TMZ. Pamela gave birth to Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds — aka Taj — in June 1996. Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy at the time. (He’s scheduled to marry Yvette Prieto in April.)
Pamela says in her lawsuit – filed Feb. 6 in Fulton County, GA – that she welcomes a paternity test to prove Jordan’s the dad. She wants full custody and child support. She also wants Jordan to pay the kid’s medical expenses.
Pamela also wants the judge to make Jordan the boy’s legal last name.
Grant posted a YouTube video (below) in December declaring that Jordan’s his daddy.
This youngsta has 5 names. FIVE! SMFH! How the fuck did they get “Taj” from that? The world may never know. Word to that owl in those old ass Tootsie Pop commercials.
Call me a jerk or whatever, but part of me wants this to not true. This begging publicly doesn’t sit well with me. The other part of me wants Mike to be a stand up and take care of the kid, SHOULD it be his son.
What took so long?
I would believe it if she were white or Latina but a Negro and an average looking Negro, I doubt the kid is his…
She looks as good as or better than his ex-wife Juanita and current fiancee who in my opinion are both average at best. Last I checked ‘punany’ I ain’t got a face and most dudes will stick it whoever they can. In Mike’s case, especially during his heyday, it was thrown at him left and right. Please believe, he didn’t turn any of it down.

Well, everyone know Mike was a Rolling Stone. The timing here is very suspect. Why wait 16 yrs to come forward with this news? Another sister loooking to get paid, I think. And she is not his type at all. But I agree with the above poster who said IF it IS his, he should step up and support the kid. But none of that retroactive child support BS. She’s the one who waited all this time. IMHO. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
How many other women of different races, especially a black woman gets pregnant by a multi millionaire and waits 16 years later to come forth requesting paternity test? You mean to tell she is just now smelling money? Now all of a sudden she wants child support, full custody, wants Jordan to now pay the kid’s medical expenses, the kid to have Jordan’s last name etc. I’m just curious to why she waited this length of time with the alleged accusation? However, if this 16 year old is proven to be the child of Jordan, then Jordan should do the right thing and be a father to this teenager.
It’s all about timing and sister girl’s Timex stopped ticking but, Steph, mztee, I cannot for the life of me believe you’all came out your bag like that!! because she’s an average looking Black woman, you don’t believe her? Are you two working for rush&hannity? have you taken a gander at his ex-wife? Did it ever occur to anyone that, he MAY HAVE BEEN PAYING and the checks stopped? Though full custody? please!! Mike don’t wanna raise no outside groupie-child, when he can raise some new ‘caramels”.
I read another article somewhere else where Jordan has met this young boy and that he kept in contact with the family. I don’t know how that true that is but its more believable than this one. I couldn’t image why she would come out of the woodwork when the child is two years from becoming 18 years old when she could have benefited from the jump. Another rachet mess!!!

Find it puzzling that Melody and Stephanie at least put down how this woman looks ,plus calling her a liar(you doubt the child is her’s),and yet y’all are supposedly so pro-Black.What she is not light skinned enough for you,her hair ain’t wavy enough.Damn.
Some of y’all saying she ain’t Jordan’s type,how would you know this.Y’all act like you know and hang around the man.Jordan’s public actions show Spanish woman,but none of us know what he does in the dark.He has to protect his brand you know,Republicans buy sneakers too he said when he couldn’t support Brother Harvey Gantt against that known racist Jesse Helm.Helm who among other things opposed MLK Day.
Finally don’t know if it’s true but the mother claims that her son wanted her to sue Michael Jordan,maybe he was tired of not knowing or having a father openly in his life,maybe because his friends were on him for claiming MJ was really his dad,maybe he wanted closure on the situation,who knows, I think we would agree the young man has a right to know who his father is.Must be tough on him and other children we have in that situation.
This reminds me of when Julius Erving was shown to have a child unknown to the public at large ,that tennis player ,Alexandra Stevenson,years after the fact,that he was not a part of her life until she was 28 years old, 2 years after he was outed so to speak..
