*Nicki Minaj has graduated from whatever her stylists are attempting to do with her.
Unsatisfied with the recent looks, the singer/rapper fired her stylist, hairdresser and makeup artist all at the same time.
“Nicki is desperate to be taken seriously as an artist,” a source told the UK’s The Sun.
“She’s fired her long-standing hairdresser who has been responsible for some of her crazy hairstyles over the years. She’s also fired her stylist. Nicki feels that now she’s done with ‘American Idol’ she can finally be taken seriously and release a proper hip-hop album.”
Maybe it was a coincidence or a calculated move, but the decision to get rid of everyone happened after rumors flared about her having plastic surgery.
If you haven’t noticed, her look was beginning to look a little toned down, as if she was trying to be less Barbie… hmm.
She is a joke and no amount of ANYTHING will help her. She will probably be held solely responsible for the demise of AI should it not return to the air and it does not need to return to the air
@redbone, I agree with you AI needs to go as well as X-Factor and America’s got Talent and The Voice is getting a bit stale too but I will give it another year. LOL!!! Nicki like Lady Gaga used the gimmicks to promote themselves, jsut use what little talent you have be it rapping or singing and lose the blonde hair and outlandish clothes and all the barbie talk, Nicki should of known sooner or later people would tire of the stupid gimmicks. The first time I saw the picture of this buffoon prancing around on stage with a big, pink dick strapped around her waist, I knew more coonery would soon follow. And it hasn’t stopped yet. Nicki Minasty expecting to be taken seriously as an artist would be like Jeffrey Dahmer expecting to taken seriously as a vegan. To be taken seriously as an artist, you first have to become one.
nikki knew when she started that her antics were part of her plan to get attention and become successful. many may not like it, but enough people liked it enough to help her make a name for herself and become successful. she’s worth millions and known worldwide. i never expected her image and antics to stay the same forever.
Nicki has nuts. That’s what it takes to make it in the male-dominated hip hop game and forge your way in the crazy business of music. She understands the concept of branding and thinking outside of the box while remaining true to one’s artistry.. Not mad at her,.,or anybody for making their way without hurting others. Plus she can spit.

Folks don’t give N enough credit for being smart. Show business is all image and she is far from the only fake blonde out there – AA or white. she’s kind of like a new age Charo except this is not the 1960′s so hopefully as a woman she will be able to parlay her antics into a long a profitable career. I believe as she evolves she will be taken seriously as an actress and musician.
