*Iyanla Vanzant has been a catalyst of change for many celebrities. Her next clients include troubled rapper DMX and seemingly lost reality show star, Sheree Whitfield.
The celebrities will be the focus of the show’s first two episodes of it new season on OWN.
In the season opener on April 13, the life coach will visit DMX at his home in Yonkers, NY to help him through a whole bunch of issues.
To say he’s got issues is an understatement. Need more proof, watch the explosive preview below. For a hot second, we thought he was going to straight up assault Iyanla. But then, for a hot second we though she was gonna flip the script and put a whippin’ on his arse. In other words, this is must SEE TV. Whoa. In fact, it’s so riveting, it’s going go for a full 90 minutes. Still, that might not be enough. Dude may need a few more sessions just to scratch the surface.
Then, in the second episode of the new season on April 20, Iyanla will dig deep into Sheree’s past relationship with ex-husband and former NFL star, Bob Whitfield. Iyanla sits down with the couple to talk about the role of co-parenting in spite of their contentious divorce. Secrets are revealed, truths are uncovered and emotions run high as Sheree and Bob reveal how they really feel about each other.
From the secrets buried in the past to the long hidden emotions, it’s going to be a roller coaster.
Tune in for the season opener of “Fix My Life” on April 13 at 9pm E/P on OWN.
Watch the fire works between Iyanla and DMX:

This one is definitely must see TV. I used to love DMX. It’s a shame how far he’s fallen.
Yeah, he’s messed up because his Mom used to be real abusive to him. She would starve him, beat him until she got tired. I feel bad for him.
Of all the celebrities that could use her advice, why choose him? She should really be trying to do a one on one with Halle Berry, Katherine Jackson, just to name a few…but DMX, she of all people should have known that crack really messed him. How’s it going down is one of my all time favorites. The guy is a druggie and apparently not ready to kick his habit…
1. scripted t.v., 2. I don’t know much at all about him music-wise but, I know he’s one helluva actor (scripted t.v.). .If he can keep it clean, he could be on par with Sam Jackson . that said, again “scripted t.v.” Like J-Judy, I wish Il-yanla (a.k.a Rhonda harris) would try talking him and any other crack-head on the street like that and she’d be mowed like a lawn. I don’t much care for her, and can’t get into “duh-’ol-wise-black-woman” act. . .puhleeze spare me. Check out “Unfaithful” on OWN, it’s much better.
I just watched the video and I have to cosign..to me it looked like it was rehearsed, especially when DMX stands up and looks at her while she’s going off, it was like he was on cue and waiting for his turn and folks, that is what Reality-TV is all about….they’re still celebrities and they’re still ACTING….just in their so-called real-lfe situations. They have to make it look over the top…that’s what keeps folks tuning in.
People seem to forget that DMX is bipolar. That explains a lot of his behavior. When you are bipolar and are not being treated or not taking your meds, this is what happens.
If you know X, then you know, this could not be scripted. Yeah, they may have a story line they have to stick to a script, but X- nawww, he goes off at any given moment.
Anderson Cooper said it best, this lady is a joke. She play with people’s life by offering off the cuff advice.
