*50 Cent has jumped into the controversy that erupted over the weekend surrounding the message Justin Bieber left in the guestbook at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.

“Truly inspiring to be able to come here,” wrote the 19-year-old pop star. “Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

Folks pounced on the last sentence, claiming Bieber made the visit all about him.

“She probably would have been [a Belieber],” 50 Cent told Vulture in Bieber’s defense at Tuesday’s premiere of “Pain & Gain.”

The rapper went even further, saying Bieber has the potential to reach the same heights, career-wise, as the late Michael Jackson.

“He can be one of those guys who can eventually transition like that,” he said.
