*Season 2 of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” debuted this weekend as host Iyanla Vanzant tried to help DMX, but next week she’ll be attempting to fix former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Sheree Whitfield. Iyanla admitted working with her wasn’t easy. “I think that when people are wounded, they’re afraid to be vulnerable,” Iyanla told Andy Cohen. “I think that when they’re allowed to get away with bad behavior for a long time, they become very brittle when you challenge them.” She added, “I also think that when someone is controlling, they can’t surrender.”

*The rumors are swirling that ‘Basketball Wives: LA’ has been cancelled by VH1 due to low ratings. According to 4umf.com an insider says Season 3 will not be made. Compared to the first season’s two million viewers per episode, only a little over one million viewers have tuned in each week since the premiere of the show’s new season. But ‘Basketball Wives Miami’ isn’t going to miss a beat. The show is scheduled to return in August.

*Last year the big buzz at Coachella was all about the Tupac hologram that showed up unexpectedly during Dr. Dre’s performance. This year’s big surprise was all about a living, breathing legend. R. Kelly shocked the crowd in the California desert when he joined Grammy-winning French indie rock group Phoenix during their headlining set. He performed a band-backed remix of his hit “Ignition (Remix)” and joined in on their original cut “1901.” After leaving the stage, Kells took time out to kick it with Tyler, The Creator, who seemed overjoyed at the encounter. R. Kelly will be performing at the Staples Center on Sunday, June 30 along with New Edition and the Jacksons as part of the BET Experience.
