Mike Brown

*It looks like somebody ether loves Barry Bonds and desperately wants a memento of him or somebody hates him and wants to be negative by stealing the commemorative plaque honoring the home run king’s record 756th clout from AT&T Park. According to ESPN, San Francisco Giants spokeswoman Staci Slaughter said Tuesday night that the reigning World Series champions are in the process of replacing the plaque, which hung on the brick facade inside the ballpark beneath the flag court area in right-center field until a few days ago. The team is investigating where the missing hardware might be, Slaughter said. “We’re in the process of replacing it,” Slaughter said. “We’re not sure what happened. We’re reviewing video, but haven’t found anything yet.”

Well now, Mike Brown and the Cleveland Cavaliers are back in each other’s arms. Brown, the ex-Lakers sideline shot caller, who formerly coached the Cavs when LeBron James was there, has agreed to a five-year, $20 million deal, reports ESPN. The Cavs have a team option for the fifth year, which is partially guaranteed for Brown. The Cavs wanted to move fast to secure Brown. Sources told ESPN.com that Brown already had turned down the Phoenix Suns’ coaching position and could have become a candidate for other jobs in the coming days. Look for Brown’s hiring to be announced today, Wednesday. Check the what Kornheiser and Wilbon have to say about the move:
