Henry Gribbohm lost his life savings playing a carnival game to win an X-Box.
*There is some truth to the saying attributed to the circus man, P.T. Barnum, “There’s a sucker born every minute.” Someone proves it to you every single day.
Today’s “sucker” is Henry Gribbohm of Derby, New Hampshire.
He went to the carnival to have some fun with the kiddies and ended up losing his life savings on a game that promised an X-Box if he could throw the ball in the bucket without the ball popping back out, according to CBS Boston.
What never seemed to occur to the man was that he could actually have gone to the store and bought his own X-Box for the $300 he spent trying to win it.
