Daniel Day Lewis was Steven Spielberg’s choice for playing the role of the President in his new film, “Obama” which debuted at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Saturday, April 27, 2013.

*The White House held its annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night and as the EUR reported, the President’s comedic skills were on high beam.

But others wanted to get in on the fun.

Steven Spielberg was patched in for the event to talk about his new film, “Obama.”

He talked about the difficulty he had in getting someone to play President Obama because he heard that he was “aloof” and he never supplied any of his “transcripts.”
