George Zimmerman *Robert Zimmerman Sr., the father of George Zimmerman, released an e-book Friday. In the book he attacks several leaders and organizations in the African American community for being “racist.”

His son George is currently on trial facing a second-degree murder in the shooting and death of Trayvon Martin. The shooting took place while Trayvon, a Florida teen, was walking through a gated community. Trayvon’s death marked a large racial debate in America once the story broke. Many still believe that Trayvon was another victim of racial profiling that unfortunately resulted in death.

George maintains that he acted in self-defense the night of the shooting. He has chosen to plead guilty during the trial and has not changed his stance on the incident. The task of finding jury members who can be objective in the trial might serve to be a difficult one as the judge and other officials have interviewed over 100 potential jurors so far.

According to Think P{rogress, Robert Zimmerman Sr. is speaking up for his son in an e-book titled “Florida v. Zimmerman: Uncovering the Malicious Prosecution of my Son, George.” Within the publication, Robert attacks the NAACP and other members of the African American community in a chapter called “Who Are The True Racists.” In this section, he accuses the NAACP of “promoting racism and hatred for their own, primarily financial, interests.”

Robert goes onto speak out against the leadership of the NAACP stating that President Benjamin Jealous is “what I would expect of a racist.” He then criticized the Congressional Black Caucus, calling it a “pathetic, self-serving group of racists… advancing their purely racist agenda.”

Several African-American organizations are under attack in the book such as the Black Chamber of Commerce, the United Negro College Fund and even the National Basketball Players Association. He also calls the attorneys representing Trayvon’s family “the scheme team.”

Robert states that his son George is anything but racist or prejudice unlike those he chose to highlight in attempt to please his son’s case.

“As an adult, George continued to judge everyone as individuals, as he does today. Many of George’s closest and most trusted friends are African American,” Robert argues in the e-book. “Although the FBI interviewed dozens of George’s friends, neighbors, co-workers, and acquaintances, there is a tremendous amount of evidence that George is absolutely not a racist in any sense of the word.”

Here’s the list various black leaders and organizations that Robert Zimmerman Sr. believes are racist:

Congressional Black Caucus. “[A] pathetic, self-serving group of racists… advancing their purely racist agenda.” He later adds that “all members of Congress should be ashamed of the Congressional Black Caucus, as should be their constituents.” And finally: “They are truly a disgrace to all Americans.”

The NAACP. “[S]imply promotes racism and hatred for their own, primarily finical, interests” and “without prejudice and racial divide, the NAACP would simply cease to exist.”

NAACP President Benjamin Jealous. “[W]hat I would expect of a racist.”

Trayvon Martin’s funeral director. A “racial activist and former head of the local NAACP.”

Benjamin Crump, Natialie Jackson and Darrly Parks, attorneys for Travyon Martin’s family. “The scheme team.”

The National Basketball Players Association.

Black Chamber of Commerce.

National Association of Black Law Enforcement Officers.

National Black United Fund.

United Negro College Fund.

He didn’t quite go all the way and call them racists, but Zimmerman Sr. did say that President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have  “shamelessly” sought to exploit his son’s case “to obtain great advantage in the African-American community.”
