It was Combs and Jay Z’s event and included guests such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Leo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake. Allegedly, tensions boiled over between J. Cole and Combs.
A witness at the PH-D rooftop lounge at the Dream Downtown said, “J. Cole was saying inappropriate things to Sean Combs and his girlfriend, Cassie. Sean immediately pounced. Some pushing and shoving happened. No punches were thrown, but it was a visible disturbance. A few bottles splashed to the floor and some partygoers were knocked over, falling on top of Renee Graziano from ‘Mob Wives.’ ”
Other witnesses said it was a 3 a.m. “dust-up” that took place after countless bottles of Diddy’s Ciroc was consumed. Combs seemed unscathed as he went from the melee to the mic to welcome his guests and wish Cassie a happy birthday.
Meanwhile, Drake arrived shortly after Rihanna. A witness says: “She was the first person he kissed on the cheek. Then he headed right over to Diddy and Jay, and they invited him to sit at their table. Drake later joined Meek Mill, Trey Songz and Kevin Hart. The group stood on top of the tables and couches, belting out the words to every Drake song the DJ played.”
Now, as far as Diddy and J. Cole going at each other, both have responded to the reports.
In a tweet, Diddy said : “I usually don’t address rumors but I got too much respect for my bro @JColeNC. We are friends. We just yell in public sometimes LOL #Fam”
J. Cole tweeted: “people will believe anything.“
