*A “duet” featuring the late King of Pop and Justin Bieber has emerged online. And promptly disappeared.

The track “Slave 2 The Rhythm” was reportedly recorded by Michael Jackson alone – well before his death in 2009 – and quietly appeared in 2010, according to Billboard. The reworked version adds Bieber’s vocals to the mix, and has already been spun by Capital FM in the U.K.

Ahead of the track’s arrival last Friday, the teenage Canadian pop artist teased his followers with a handful of Michael Jackson-themed tweets.

“Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar,” Bieber tweeted. “Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat fans.

Subsequent posts of the track on YouTube and Soundcloud were yanked over the weekend. The YouTube video is replaced with a notice which explains, “The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by SME.”
