Carmelo Anthony*The other night, IWC Schaffhausen celebrated its new “Friend of the Brand” NBA Superstar Carmelo Anthony at the IWC Flagship Boutique on Madison Avenue in New York.

IWC Brand President Gianfranco D’Attis and Carmelo toasted the partnership with a glass of Moët & Chandon and Carmelo was presented with a crystallized bottle of Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rose. The evening culminated with guests being treated to the world premiere of the latest film from IWC’s Globetrotter Series, Carmelo Anthony’s “My NY.”

“It’s the different facets of life that I really enjoy. I love art, I love fashion, I love music, but it all intertwines with each other at the same time. I wouldn’t have been able to do that without being here in New York City,” Carmelo said in an interview. “When you fly over New York, and you get off the plane and walk outside, it’s that New York minute – that air, that energy. New York is where everybody comes – whether its sports, fashion, art, business. If you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere.”
