*Pop star and “The Voice” host CeeLo Green was recently in New York City to celebrate the launch of the Renaissance Hotel’s new digital program, “Discovery Doors.”
The Renaissance Hotel will now house the first-ever interactive film-based digital game. Travelers will now have the opportunity to win prizes/surprises during the stay.
CeeLo debuted the travel experience by surprising a grandmother, mother and daughter in New York City by serenading them on the couch with candles and rose pedals.
In other CeeLo news, the “Forget You” singer will join forces with his hip-hop group Goodie Mob to perform as part of JetBlue Airline’s Live From T5 Concert Series.
This performance will end Goodie Mob’s 14 year hiatus and will take place on on Sept. 9, 2013 at 6pm for an exclusive concert at Terminal 5 (T5) at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York.
The concerts are held post-security check point and are open to ticketed customers and lucky contest winners.
“It’s an honor for Goodie Mob to be the first hip hop group to perform during JetBlue’s unique Live From T5 Concert series,” said Goodie Mob in a statement. “It will be a special night, in a special atmosphere and Goodie Mob is ready to bring guests and fans some real special education.”
JetBlue kicked of their Live From T5 concert series in 2009. Since its debut, acts like Jason Derulo, Taylor Swift, Emeli Sande, Daughtry and The Wanted have all performed in the airline terminal.
