*Los Angeles, CA — Actress, singer and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph will host the 2nd Annual West Coast Expo taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Friday, September 27 – Saturday, September 28, 2013. Co- Producers, Natalie Cole, CEO and David Miller, COO of Our Weekly Newspaper will kick off the expo with an opening breakfast beginning at 8:00am on Friday in the convention center’s South Hall.
The West Coast Expo is as an exposition and trade show for small, medium, and large businesses with goods, products and services to market on the West Coast. Our featured pavilions include Business, Technology, Health and Beauty, Automotive, Home Improvement and Green/Sustainability. Each pavilion offers attendees a unique, informative and exciting opportunity to interact with experts, specialists and vendors who will enable them to learn about, evaluate, test and purchase products and services. “We are excited to bring our 2nd annual West Coast Expo event to the Los Angeles Convention Center. This event with be a one stop shop for the entire family,” says David Miller.”
The West Coast Expo (WCE) Job & Resource Expo taking place on Friday from 10am – 3pm and Saturday from 10am – 1pm, will host diverse organizations offering employment opportunities and social service resources for all WCE attendees. The Job Fair will take place on the Expo floor near the Business Pavilion.
The Urban Media Junior Business Camp will be a training ground for youth on Saturday from 10am – 4pm. The one day camp is an annual part of the Urban Media Foundation Youth Entrepreneurship Project (YEP). The JBC incorporates a variety of educational techniques, including classroom instructions, interactive activities, Building-A-Business Lab & Assessment Center and helpful handouts. Sessions are designed to be easily understood by high school students with hands on learning experiences to guide each participant into becoming the owner of a real small business. Participants will learn practical business skills: team building, leadership development, financial management, professional communication and business etiquette through interactive lessons and exercises.
The WCE Workshops and Seminars will be an extension of our business represented on the floor and will be conducted in the classrooms overlooking the Expo floor and is a premier focus of the Expo. The WCE Business Seminars will include Workshops and Panel experts, presented by our sponsors and other industry professionals. These Seminars will include presentations that will address the needs of both the business professionals and consumers

Fabulous fashions await visitors Saturday, 6:00pm at the “Lights-Camera-Runway” Celebrity Fashion Show hosted by actress, singer and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph and radio personality Kevin Nash. Featured designers include clothing by some of the leading fashion retailers and top award winning designers in the Greater Los Angeles area. Proceeds benefit the Urban Media Foundation.
