West is looking for sponsors for several ventures including guerilla-style music performances, art installations and a fashion line.
Unfortunately while at the listening party last week for Pusha T’s new album, “My Name Is My Name,” at Industria Studios, West took the mic and proceeded to rant against “corporations” and “sellouts.”
“I don’t give a [bleep] about none of these corporations, none of these [bleep] sellouts, this [bleeping] Pusha T,” he yelled.
To make matters worse, West said he was “a little off that Good right now,” meaning he had been drinking Grey Goose, which might rub Hennessy the wrong way since they sponsored the party.
Then the next day, West was a no show for rapper Nas’ birthday party that was sponsored by Hennessy. Sources say Hennessy was not pleased at all.
Obviously West’s actions aren’t helping him make friends in the corporate world.
“Sponsors are scared away because he’s so unpredictable,” said one insider.
Hmm, aybe he should lay off the sauce.
