*Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a huge fan of the Miami Heat and was a special guest during their practice on Sunday.
Their practice court is normally off limits to any visitors, but its no surprise they made an exception for “Money” Mayweather as one of their most prominent court side supporters.
Mayweather even took time to address the two-time defending champions with a speech that Dwyane Wade said was “from one champion to another.” With Mayweather knowing first hand about defending, Lebron James says having him at at their practice “will be something that you can talk about years from now.”
Mayweather was seated with managing general partner Micky Arison and team president Pat Riley also known as the Heat brain trust.
*According to TMZ, Deion Sanders was hospitalized Sunday afternoon after landing at LAX and experiencing a sharp pain in his stomach.
After arriving in Los Angeles, Sanders was in need of immediate attention. Thanks to two firefighters (see photo above) he was able to get the assistance he needed after he landed.
There has been no confirmation on what exactly caused the stomach pains but he was checked out for both kidney stones and appendix issues.
