*(Eagan, MN) – Minnesota’s multi-talented artist Lexee Crystal Harris will appear live on “The Art Cunningham Show” Wednesday October 30, 2013 to talk about her many ventures at such a young age – her comic book series, two original songs on major movie soundtracks, and her past and upcoming acting roles. On Wednesday, October 30th Lexee Crystal Harris will be a guest on “The Art Cunningham Show.” After her interview she will perform some of her original songs that will appear on her upcoming self-titled debut album, “I’m Feeling Lucky” and “I See.” Lexee will also show her self-taught skills at playing the ukelea. “The Art Cunningham Show,” with Lexee as guest, can be seen on Channel 19 at 8:00 p.m. and Channel 15 at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 30th, Channel 16 on Thursday October 31st at 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 3rd at 3:30 p.m.
Lexee Crystal is an 18 year-old Alternative singer, songwriter, illustrator, author, actress and model who’s a local rising star. She has four original songs (she co-wrote) recently added to the playlist of Minnesota’s HOTT Radio, heard live at www.MinnesotaHOTTRadio.com. The singles will be included on her upcoming debut self-titled album, which includes ”I’m Feeling Lucky” (http://soundcloud.com/lexeecrystal/im-feeling-lucky), appearing on the sound track of a new 2014 romantic comedy “Lucky Dog; “I See,” “Gypsy Caravan,” and “Breathless.” All the songs are produced and co-written by Brandon Jarrett (MoHo Productions).
“Gypsy Caravan,” “Breathless” and “I See” reached #5 on Reverb Nation’s Alternative Charts. “Breathless” can be heard on the soundtrack for the ION Channel (ION Media Network) movie presentation of “A Star for Christmas,” which aired in December, 2012 (l http://soundcloud.com/lexeecrystal/breathless). “Gypsy Caravan” is also co-written by Baltimore native Neenah Taylor. Another original song of Lexee Crystal’s to be included on the debut is titled “Until,” it is written by Lexee and produced by Los Angeles producer A.V.I. (Dumpy Records). On the single “Until” you will find the multi-talented artist showing her skills at rapping.
Lexee Crystal is also an actress who stars in a recruitment commercial for North Dakota State College. Lexee’s acting experiences include a starring role in the dramatic film The Family Guardians, produced and director by Lee H. Jordan and in the Minnesota stage production of “Alice in Wonderland.” Also a model Harris has appeared in a national Skechers print campaign and Mini Mogul Music’s full-page print advertisement spread – which appeared in Pop Star Magazine.
As an author/illustrator Lexee has published three comic-books part of her “Samarakan” series. She headlines a book tour periodically promoting the “Samarakan” comic-book series, which always results in a sell-out.
