*A new generation of Spielbergs is making their presence felt in Hollywood, but not following in their famous father’s footsteps.
Sasha Spielberg, 23, and Theo Spielberg, 25, have just signed with Jay Z’s Roc Nation for management, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The siblings, whose pops is filmmaker Steven Spielberg, released their EP “Brother/Sister” earlier in 2013 under the name Wardell (a pet name from mom Kate Capshaw). They’re signed through U.K.’s National Anthem label and will put out an album sometime in 2014.
The two are also in-demand DJs, having recently worked Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood party in West Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Sasha recently sold the pilot “Girls Without Boys” — co-written with Emily Goldwyn (daughter of John Goldwyn), with Rashida Jones (daughter of Quincy Jones) producing — to ABC.
“But music is still my passion,” Sasha tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I am going to find a way to balance both.”
