chris brown*Much to Chris Brown‘s relief, a judge in Washington, DC says the singer doesn’t have to travel from LA to the nation’s capital to appear in court.

On Friday, D.C. Superior Judge Robert Tignor agreed let Brown skip his scheduled appearance on Monday where he’s facing a misdemeanor charge.

As we reported, Brown and his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy were arrested last month on charges of punching a man outside a hotel who tried to jump into a picture with the singer.

Brown was ordered into anger management rehabilitation this week following a Los Angeles court appearance.
