*Presented by The Petersen Automotive Museum, The LA Auto Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center is an event you don’t want to miss. The show began on November 22nd, and runs through Sunday December 1st.
I had not been to an auto show in years. My friend Rondalis Tandy – a true car enthusiast – invited me to go with him, and I’m glad I was with someone who knew their way around the Convention Center because there was so much to see, and then some!
There’s nothing but sheer excitement in the air as people discover the latest models of the auto world’s finest, and some amazing concept cars. I was particularly drawn to the Cadillac Elmiraj concept car. It smacks of one of my all-time favorite models – the 1967/1968 El Dorado. I hope it goes into production.
At every showcase – Chrysler, Ford, Hyundai, Toyota, Maserati, Lincoln, and so many others – the Product Consultants were on their game doing presentations, answering questions, and accommodating in every possible way. Always good for a laugh, Tandy – former lead singer of a legendary R&B group called The Van Dykes – quipped “All the models look great, and so do the cars!” When asked what her experience has been Marilyn Mark, Product Consultant for KIA said, “It’s been great!”
On Saturday November 30th activities beginning at 10:00AM will include Face Painting, Balloon Maker, Princess Greeter, and a Radio Disney Appearance (which will also appear the following day from 10AM to 12PM). For further information please go to the website at laautoshow.com.
