*Ashley Madekwe is going from b*tch to witch.

The actress, who played the diabolical Ashley on ABC’s “Revenge” before being written off the show in this season’s premiere, has booked a role in the WGN America period drama “Salem,” which is based on the real-life Massachusetts witch hunts and will debut this spring.

She plays Tituba, one of the first women accused of witchcraft.

“I had a costume fitting today, and it’s quite a different look for me than I had on Revenge,” Madekwe tells TV Guide. “The series takes place in the 1690s. In our version, there really are witches, but they’re not the ones being accused.”

Madekwe’s real-life husband, Iddo Goldberg, has a recurring role on the show. “Iddo plays Isaac,” she says. “He’s a guy who gets the word fornicator branded on his forehead. You know those Puritans; they looked down on fornication.”
