Kanye West*With a best-selling album, high-profile relationship and new baby, major tour with Kendrick Lamar and never-ending chances to speak his mind, Kanye West has remained in the public eye.

But the rapper’s Yeezus tour has apparently lost a bit of steam at a recent stop in Kansas City, MO.

The Kansas City Star reports that Ye’s fans did not turn out in force as expected at the Sprint Center. Despite having a maximum seating capacity of 19,000, only 4,500 fans came out for the show. Those in attendance got Kanye’s music and then some as West went into another rant, this time taking a confessional vibe.

“I don’t always say the right things at the right time, the rhymesayer reportedly said in the eight-minute tirade. “I’m better at saying the wrong things at the wrong time.”

The low attendance in Kansas City is the latest in a string of happenings involving the Yeezus tour. The trek experienced a string of cancellations initially, in addition to West reportedly storming off the stage just minutes into his recent show in Tampa, Fla.

Despite all the setbacks, don’t be surprised if Kanye rebounds stronger than ever. Just be prepared for a new set of monologues to celebrate this new achievement.
