*It would probably come as no surprise to learn that “Basketball Wives LA” might be making some cast changes for season 3.
According to one of the current stars, Malaysia Pargo, there’s some good stuff in store for viewers/fans.
“It’s amazing. We have some other new girls, so it’s going to be an interesting twist … Draya and I have a dynamic interaction with each other, so we are going to make it do what it do.”
And when asked about a spin-off show, Pargo explained to HipHollywood – on the red carpet for Floyd Mayweather’s Annual Celebrity Classic Toy Drive and Basketball Game – that there could be something in the works.
“Maybe,” she said. “You’ll see, you’ll have to wait and see.”
Pargo is set to return to the show with co-stars Draya Michele and Jackie Christie, but it probably comes as no surprise – given their public disdain for the show’s producer Shaunie O’Neal – the Govan sisters, Laura and Gloria, won’t be back.
Hmm, could it be they are getting a spin-off show? Well, earlier this year the Govan sisters shared details of what might be in store if the show comes to fruition.
“It really is going to just kind of bring a different light on what we represent as real basketball wives and just the league in general,” the ladies told HipHollywood. “It really just is going to focus on kind of the ups and downs and everything else that kind of involves being in a relationship with a professional athlete. And sisterhood too,” Gloria explained.
“Finally you’re going to see exactly who we are, not bits and pieces … It should be interesting, very entertaining,” they added.
Sounds interesting, but as of now, no network or any other details have been announced.
