It happened to this driver!
In this hysterical video Kevin Hart and Ice Cube promote their upcoming movie “Ride Along,” by testing out a new ride-sharing app called Lyft, with late night talk show host Conan O’Brien.
The trio request to be taken to the “weed spot,” to Wendy’s drive thru, and pick up girls. Shenanigans ensue when the actors send O’Brien into a 7-11 store for forty-ouncers, Swisher Sweets, Starbursts, and lottery scratchers.
Viewers are guaranteed to laugh out loud as the rapper and comedian show the host how to avoid cops and pretend to kidnap the driver.
With over four million hits, the clip is quickly moving through the blogosphere.
The video is a sneak peek of the antics to come in the new action comedy “Ride Along.”
“Ride Along,” follows a fast-talking security guard (Hart) as he joins his girlfriend’s brother (Cube), a hot tempered cop, to patrol the streets of Atlanta, he gets entangled in the officer’s latest case. Now, in order to prove that he deserves his future bride, he must survive the most insane 24 hours of his life.
John Leguizamo and Laurence Fishburne join the cast of the comedy directed by Tim Story (“Think Like a Man”).
Be sure to see the two troublemakers in action, when Universal’s “Ride Along” hits theaters on January 17, 2014.
Lyft is an on-demand ride sharing app for friendly, affordable rides at the tap of a button. The mobile app enables passengers who need a ride to request one from drivers who have a car. Drivers don’t charge “fares” but receive “donations” from their passengers. Lyft is about 30 percent less than the price of a taxi.
