*The first couple of hip hop, Jay Z and Beyonce, have joined the list of performers for the 2014 Grammy Awards, airing Jan. 26.

The duo’s appearance was confirmed in a commercial Sunday night for the awards telecast, according to Billboard.com. The ad also revealed Grammy-nominated stars Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will take the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles next weekend, along with Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, Daft Punk and Paul McCartney.

Beyonce is coming off of a private set for First Lady Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday, but her Grammy gig will be her first public performance since the release of her fifth, self-titled album.

While she and Jigga collaborated on two tracks for Bey’s album, Billboard reports there is no word on whether Mr. and Mrs. Carter will perform together at the awards show.

Besides hitting up the Grammy stage, Jay Z is also up for nine Grammy awards for his 2013 album “Magna Carta … Holy Grail,” including Best Rap Album.
