*Let’s NOT talk about sex, baby!

That’s Jennifer Hudson‘s philosophy. She says talking about sex in the music industry is so overrated.

“Girl, I can’t. Ooooh … Singing about the same old things in music is so overrated,” she said.

The “Spotlight” singer elaborated with, “sex, drinkin’, the club. Okay, especially sex. Like, we [are] grownups, we ain’t got over that, like, really?” she said.

She believes certain artists are too old to be singing about sex. She wanted to name someone(s), but said she couldn’t.  It could literally be anyone (since the entertainment is sex driven).

“Ain’t you too old for that kind of thing? Can you talk about something else? I get annoyed with those things,” she said. “But I can’t answer the last question, ohhh though I want to.”

But Wendy Williams thinks she’s taking shots at Beyonce. Hudson addressed the rumor on Twitter.

“If u took my general comment and YOU singled out someone to apply it it to , then that would mean that’s how u feel. Not me.”

She continued with retweeting her fans’ responses.

Regardless of who in the industry Hudson could be talking about, she still loves music. In fact, it keeps her at peace.

“When I’m listening to just music — no voice, just music. Like a piano or an instrument, just that is so peaceful to me,” she said.

Hudson is still expressing herself musical as well. She’ll be headlining the Carnival Live concert series this summer too.

But is Hudson right about today’s music and artists?
