Their last season delivered 2.3 million viewers.
And this weekend, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is back with a two-part season premiere this Sunday and Monday on E!
The family matriarch, Kris Jenner, talked with the crew on Sway In The Morning (SITM) about the ninth season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
Kris: It’s tough what Khloe is going through. I’m not going to give anything away. You’ll have to tune in and see.
SITM: What is your dynamic with Bruce Jenner? You have separated but not divorced, so are you searching for love? Are you dating?
Kris: Our dynamic is amazing. We’re really good friends. Every couple goes through a period when you need to figure things out and that’s what we’re doing right now, we took a break. We’ve been married 24 years. I am not dating right now. I’m working.
SITM: Have you gotten to see the other side of Kanye West? The not so sweet side?
Kris: He is an artist and performer. He is an amazing person. He’s got a side where he is very definite and powerful.
SITM: You have seen Kim go through a lot of relationships and they’ve all failed, up until this point. Why?
Kris: That’s what life is all about. You go through life and figure out what works for you and hopefully one day you find your soul mate.
SITM: Why do you think Kayne is good for your daughter?
Kris: They make each other very happy. They have a great chemistry. It is real.
Kris: It was a summer run. They did not order any more shows. I wanted to do more of an interview show. The show pulled in great numbers. I don’t think there was a spot for an afternoon female talk show. But they did talk to me about doing a morning show!
SITM: Was Bruce purposely not invited Kayne’s proposal to Kim?
Kris: Bruce was working on the other side of the country giving a motivational speech to a Fortune 500 company.
SITM: Do you get exhausted from being connected to OJ Simpson?
Kris: No, I don’t read a lot of the stuff that is being written and I don’t really hear about it.
