nan - national action network logo*The National Action NetworkLos Angeles  will launch its 2014 initiatives to help stop Black on Black homicides with its first monthly march to help stop the violence and killing in LA county.

The initiatives are co-chaired by elder Michael Cummings and Rev. K.W. Tulloss, President of The National Action Network (NAN – LA) in conjunction with its monthly anti violence marches. NAN will also launch an anti no-snitching campaign.

“We have to change the culture of young people in our community who often times will have knowledge of who committed the murder or murders, but refuse to help bring the perpetrators to justice because of the code of silence they have and unwillingness to cooperate with law enforcement because of the no-snitching culture that exists in South LA,” stated Rev. Tulloss.

“These initiatives are critical to help reduce the violence and murders that occur within our own community by the hands of our own people. To join our taskforce and to participate in our monthly marches, contact NAN at 323-521-3477, said  NAN political director and spokesman Najee Ali
