*Style watchers barely had enough time to turn attention from the Grammys on Sunday to the U.S. Capitol last night – to assess the state of Michelle Obama’s fashion choice for her husband’s State of the Union address.

FLOTUS opted for forest green, wearing an Azzedine Alaïa frock that featured a fitted bodice and full skirt made from the designer’s signature textured material. Bands of a deeper green fabric encircled the skirt.

Her jacket was made to match, and she capped off the look with a wide, leather belt.
