According to Gossip Extra, the addition to their home is ONLY 3,000 square feet, which will make his “small” home a little bigger at 40,000 square feet.
“It’s just a slight modification,” said Estee Portnoy, Jordan’s spokesman.
A slight modification? Right…
The six-time NBA champion is adding a cottage that will be connected with his main house.
Jordan’s $25 million South Floridan home is already believed to be the biggest single family home in the region.
And it might be safe to say his three grown children, two boys and a girl (Jeffrey Jordan, Marcus Jordan and Jasmine Jordan) who are now in their 20s, will not be sharing the space with their father and new stepmother.
In a way, MJ actually downsized with his current home for his new family. After a failed auction, Jordan’s OTHER home outside of Chicago is on the market for $16 million. It’s 56,000 square feet!
But don’t worry about MJ expensive taste in homes; he’s earned it. Literally! According to Celebrity Net Worth, the NBA legend is worth $650 million.
