*Well look who just stepped up to volunteer to put a pounding on George Zimmerman.
It’s none other than rapper The Game, who’s always ready to get in somebody, anybody’s face.
Friday, The Game went on TMZ Live and formally accepted the challenge to fight Zimmerman in the ring.
Earlier, when the news of Zimmerman’s invite – to take on a celeb in the ring – went out, Game informally let it be known that he was more than willing to step to the Zman.
“I would not be boxing for me. I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family. “I will beat the f**k out of him.”
The rapper, who has a tattoo of Trayvon on his leg, says, “I would box him to knock him out,” adding, “I would definitely take pleasure in it. It’s legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon.”
OK Game, we know you’re psyched and all, but it might not be that cut and dry. The promoter says even though Game is looking good as a front-runner, there are more than 4,700 others who want a piece of Zimmerman.
Meanwhile, The Game is not impressed with promoter Damon Feldman, who said Zimmerman would be a tough opponent because he’s been heavy into boxing training. That’s a crock of crap as far as The Game is concerned ’cause he’s 6’5″ and 240 lbs of practically all muscle … and he predicts a quick knockout. Period. End of story.
That’s how most folks see it, too. In fact we doubt Zimmerman would be stupid enough to agree to it. On the other hand, and we’re not surprised to hear it, but Damon is saying Zimmerman has agreed to fight DMX … and he says he’ll make a decision in a few days for the March 1 fight.
Hell, your average grandmother could beat the crap out DMX.
