wendy williams (on the view)*She… broke… down!

Wendy Williams was talking about Madonna (and the absurd n-word comment she made on her son’s Instagram pic). But started crying automatically — saying the “Like a Virgin” pop icon was luckily to have a 13-year-old son who likes her.

“My son doesn’t like me,” Williams said.

Well, Williams provided insight on “The View” about her breakdown on her show!

“For the last year, it has been, ‘Kevin, stop leaving toothpaste chunks in the sink.’ You tell him that once, you tell him that three times,” said Wendy, who told Barbara Walters that she can only use her words with Kevin. “He’s too big for me to spank him because otherwise I’d crack his skull like I used to.”

But it’s nothing unusual, young men grow closer to their fathers during pre-teen years — sharing common interests.

“The gravitation towards his father is a natural thing,” she said. “They both have an affection for sneakers, fast cars, good haircuts.”

Nevertheless, her son was near when she had an episode on her own show. He was eager to tell his mother he loves her.

“He came down to my dressing room and was like, ‘Mommy, I love you. You are so cool,’” Wendy recalled, noting that her tearful display may have opened up the lines of communication between them. “And I’m trying to disrobe and he’s like, ‘Mommy, I don’t have time to leave the room. I need to say this to you now so you understand.’ So I say, ‘Kevin, this is the thing. I guess I just got emotional over something I probably should’ve shared with you earlier.’”

Williams ensured everyone that he’s a good kid and they love each other.

“We’re still close. Our relationship is not fractured,” Wendy clarified. “He’s a good boy. We have an excellent relationship; there is no favorite parent.”

In fact, he wrote a letter, five things he loved about his mother.
