According to reports, the situation stems from a tweet Amber Rose posted on Saturday amid all the talk about the “Drunk in Love.”
“F-ck! My fav song is ruined. Smh.Terrific,” tweeted Rose. Needless to say, the short message caused many to speculate that she was throwing shade at Yeezy. However, the former music video fixture was quick to dismiss the hearsay by clarifying what was said.
“Just landed was talking about my hubby’s song that he gave to someone else & I picked the one day “he” comes out with a song,” stated Rose, who deleted the original tweet hours after it was posted. “Just my lick. I f*cking hate twitter. Smh.”
*As Amber Rose sets the record straight, Creadel “Red” Jones gears up for a legal battle of his own regarding a new paternity lawsuit.
Jones, an original member of the Chi-Lites, is at the center of the case, which will be highlighted Wednesday on the syndicated series “Paternity Court with Lauren Lake.”
The case centers on an Illinois-based woman who is trying to prove she is the Jones’ biological daughter and is therefore entitled to share in the group’s royalties, media sources report. At stake are royalties earned by the Chi-Lites, who have notched eleven Top Ten R&B hits including “Have You Seen Her” and “Oh Girl.”
The Chicago-based quartet’s music has been sampled by various artists such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z and West.
