*Grown ups may get proper and act adult with a hall of fame ceremony, but for kids it was all about the fun at Cartoon Network’s 4th Annual Hall of Games awards.
Hosted by Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton and San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick, the Hall of Game awards attracted thousands of kids, who filled the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica Saturday night. In addition to the top athletes in sports, the event featured entertainment from The Harlem Globetrotters, Fall Out Boy and Jason Derulo.
For Kaepernick and Newtown, the word of the day was fun as they vowed to make the Hall of Game an event to remember.
“Good to host with my boy Cam. We are going to try to have a good time with the kids and make everyone turn up, ” Kaepernick told HipHollywood.com.
“We are going to have fun tonight,” Newton added. “Got to have the opportunity to have a co-host, so just see what happens.”
