*Dr. Dre has filed a $3 million lawsuit against executives at his former label Death Row Records over unpaid royalties.

In court papers filed in December in Los Angeles, the producer claimed he was owed $676,400 in unpaid mechanical royalties, $1.2 million in unpaid artist/producer royalties and $1.2 million in digital sales of his music.

He also alleges there are inconsistencies pertaining to payments he has received and that executives have yet to honor a bonus, which would increase his album sales revenues from 18 to 20 percent, according to RadarOnline.com.

Suge Knight has not been in charge of the company since 2006, after he declared bankruptcy. Subsequently, the next owner, WIDEawake, sold some of Dre’s songs online, paving the way for his current claims regarding digital sales.
