Despite popular belief he is not cracked out somewhere, he’s been sitting on the board with heads of state from Sierra Leone, to Nigeria, Morocco, etc. building a railroad, he calls The Freedom Train. It’s a ten year plan, so when he’s done playing “Hollywood producer” he’ll be back.

You probably didn’t know that Washington has been producing, but he actually has three projects being screened at the PAFF/Pan African Film Festival. EURweb associate, LaCora Stephens, was there to catch up with this “national treasure” deemed by a fan who watched his film, “Blue Caprice.”

“Blue Caprice” is based on the true story of the D.C. Snipers; this is not a biopic.  However, Washington stated …

“The bootleggers kept running out of supply in Detroit, so it was in high demand. It was released on DVD, AppleTV, iTunes, etc. on Jan. 14, 2014. It was a tough subject matter and event…a tough film to tell and make.”

Despite it being “tough” it took Sundance by storm with high praise and awards. Washington said he can live off the praise for four years!

LaCora was excited to hear the return of Isaiah’s portrayal as president on the new show “The 100” on the CW.  “The 100” will premiere at midseason on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

When questioned about hot topics like “Celebrity Fight Match,” Obama Care, gay football player Michael Sims and Valentines, he spoke candidly responding, “None of Your Damn Business…Hercules, Hercules, Hercules…Ridiculous and Disgusting.”  You have to watch which response goes to which hot topic:
