Dang, it must be nice to be Kevin Hart.
Seems like everything the brother touches turns to gold or more precisely, money.
Case in point, “About Last Night,” Hart’s newest film, is outpacing expectations at the Valentine’s Day and President’s Day box office, where it could take in over $25 million in its debut, according to the Hollywood Reporter, beating other new entries “RoboCop,” “Endless Love” and “Winter’s Tale.”
Unfortunately, unlike Kevin Hart’s other hit that’s still in theaters, Ride Along,” “The Lego Movie” is projected to top the four-day holiday overall with a huge gross north of $50 million
“About Last Night,” from Screen Gems, featuring African-American actors, is a remake of the 1986 film starring Brat Pack members Demi Moore and Rob Lowe. Hart stars opposite Michael Ealy, Regina Hall and Joy Bryant. Steve Pink directed the film, about two couples who hook up at a bar.
