happy (paris version)*They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Well, if that’s the case, a lot of folks around the world are literally feeling “Happy,” the undeniably giddy ditty from Pharrell.

The song is so infectious, that imitators around the world have created their own versions of the tune.

The original, which to date has had more than 60 million YouTube views, depicts Williams and 400 others (including celebrities such as Magic Johnson and Steve Carell), alone or in groups, dancing through the streets and buildings in Los Angeles to the infectious tune from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack.

According to Billboard last week, the song, which is a nominee for Best Original Song at next month’s Academy Awards, is the highest-charting Oscar-nominated song in more than a decade.
