Usher has given Tameka the boot from the 12,544 square-foot Georgia mansion she lived in since their divorce was finalized in 2009.
Usher first purchased the home for $3.04 million in 2007. Although she was allowed to live there, Usher always had the right to sell the house at any time as long as he gave Tameka 30 days notice, the divorce settlement stated.
Apparently, the love was gone as Usher took a $1million loss on the home to get it sold for $2.2 million on Nov. 20, 2013, reports RadarOnline.
As it stands now, Tameka and Usher are still fighting it out in court. Tameka recently filed court documents, which claim Usher is in contempt for not having a discussion with her over decisions made about their sons. A date for the hearing has yet to be produced for Tameka’s motion.
Nevertheless, she will be just fine as she gains a spot on VH1’s “Hollywood Exes” spinoff, “Atlanta Exes.” Media sources state that Tameka and Kevin Hart’s ex, Torrei Hart, are the newest additions to the show, which will also feature Ne-Yo‘s former girl Monyetta Shaw and Sheree Buchanan, the ex-wife of NFL player Ray Buchanan.
News of the spinoff comes as “Hollywood Exes” gears up for its third season. The new season of the show, which stars Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife, Nicole Murphy, premieres April 30 on VH1. “Atlanta Exes” will start airing on the network this summer.
