usher*Absence makes the heart grow fonder and Usher is living proof as he gears up to return to NBC’s “The Voice” alongside Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Shakira on February 24.

“You make investments in these artists, these talents,” the entertainer told “Extra.” “And there’s something that can happen that’s positive… I’m excited about the potential of what’s going on to happen, the new ideas that’ll just kind of come up. I’m shocking myself a lot of time cause I don’t know what I’m doing when I’m in there. I just kinda go with what I feel.”

floyd mayweather & stacks of money*Like Usher, Floyd Mayweather is going with what he feels, which is to kill any talk of him betting on the losing team for this Sunday’s Super Bowl.

The damage control stems from reports that the boxing champ bet $10 million on the Broncos beating the Seahawks in the big game. Despite the rumor dying down, the Broncos’ loss reignited the rumor on social media as Mayweather endured taunts over his alleged misfortune.

As a result, the athlete spoke out on the situation via Instagram in response to those who missed his camp officially killing the rumor last week.

“Somebody lied to you all. If I was going to bet, I would have bet on the Seattle Seahawks,” Mayweather said in a caption that appeared with an image congratulating the Seahawks. “I’m the best defensive fighter, it’s only right to go with the best defensive team,”
