*With HBO’s “Treme” finished and NBC’s “The Michael J. Fox Show” cancelled, Wendell Pierce has booked himself another television gig.

The actor will recur on the second season of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan,” reports Deadline.com. He’ll play Mr. Keith, a down-on-his-luck parole officer who gets a payoff from Ray (Live Schreiber).

Pierce joins fellow new cast additions Hank Azaria, Sherilyn Fenn and Vinessa Shaw on the Mark Gordon co-produced drama.

On “The Michael J. Fox Show,” Pierce played the boss and best friend to news anchor Mike Henry (Fox). NBC pulled it from its schedule earlier this month and replaced it on Thursdays with “Hollywood Game Night.”

“Treme,” which starred Pierce as struggling musician Antoine Batiste, ended its four-year run on HBO in December.
