*Boris Kodjoe joins the cast of ABC’s 13-episode series “The Club,” described as an upstairs/downstairs drama set at a private country club.
The star of BET’s “The Real Husbands Of Hollywood” will play Deacon, a Hall of Fame pro football player who moved his family back East and is trying his hand at real estate. Infuriated by the bureaucracy, and ultimately realizing that knowing the right people will make things easier, he joins the Club.
Toks Olagundoye, one of the leads of ABC’s sophomore comedy “The Neighbors,” has been cast as a regular in NBC’s comedy pilot “Feed Me” in second position to the ABC series (meaning this role will happen only if ‘Neighbors’ is cancelled).
“Feed Me” stars Mary-Louise Parker and centers on a dysfunctional family bound by love and the restaurant they run together.
Nigeria-born Olagundoye plays Meryl, the live-in girlfriend-turned-fiancee of John (Ed Wuinn), one of three grown-up children of restaurateur parents and brother of Emma (Parker).
On Neighbors, Toks plays alien matriarch Jackie Joyner-Kersee.
