*The Obamacare promo train has just picked up LeBron James in its push to remind folks of the March 31 deadline to enroll.

The Miami Heat player speaks about the importance of health care coverage in a 30-second public service announcement that will air throughout March Madness and during NBA games.

It is similar in style to the ACA television spots featuring former NBA stars Magic Johnson and Alonzo Mourning, each of whom has dealt with a serious health issue—HIV for Johnson and kidney disease for Mourning.

James’ spot will air on many outlets, such as ESPN, ABC, TNT and NBA TV, as well as during local sports programming in markets with a high concentration of uninsured people.

It’s the latest in the White House’s campaign to get the “young-and-healthies” signed up. The group is critical to organizing the pool of beneficiaries in a balanced way.

Earlier this week, President Obama took his pitch to comedy website Funny Or Die, appearing on Zach Galifianikis‘ “Between Two Ferns.” First Lady Michelle Obama appeared in a new ACA video Friday featuring the mothers of Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and other celebs under the campaign #YourMomCares.
