*As you no doubt know by now, Lil Boosie is finally free after being in prison for more than 10 years.
While he’s happy to be amongst the law-abiding again, one thing the rapper won’t tolerate is the use of the N-word from his daughter. Boosie discovered the word coming out of his daughter’s mouth via a video that surfaced online featuring her using the N-word to express how happy she was that her dad has come home after being away for so long.

Despite his disapproval, Boosie understands the reason she expressed herself with that word.
“I was too happy to fuss. You know, after that I told her I didn’t want her saying the word,” the rap star told AllHipHop.com. “But, she was one of those that went through ‘your daddy ain’t coming home’, ‘yo daddy this’ in schools and such. So, I think it was just when I called her and told her I was coming home, I think it was all the stuff she went through coming out. I didn’t know she had it in her.”
News of Boosie’s release has dominated headlines since last week as fans, family and friends of the rapper celebrated the rapper’s return. Boosie started his prison stint in 2009 after pleading guilty to drug charges.
Although many are happy to see him free, Boosie’s release has attracted just as many critics. Reason4rhymes.com noted that actor Jason Weaver expressed his feelings regarding the rhymesayer’s return on Instagram as he questioned why the same type of celebrations aren’t given for African-American males who have stayed out of trouble.
“It sure would be cool if we posted more pics of young brothas receiving high school diplomas, college degrees, and cool shit like that instead of a playa getting out of prison mane,” Weaver posted.
