*Meagan Good has landed another NBC drama.

The “Deception” alum has been tapped to star in the network’s regeneration drama pilot, “Babylon Fields,” which centers on the dead rising again in Babylon, N.Y., where lives are regained, old wounds are reopened and families are restored — for better or worse. The newly regenerated bodies are healing faster and growing stronger, prompting discussion that this might be the next step in human evolution.

Good will play Janine Beltran, a beautiful local doctor with an edge to her.

The 20th TV-produced project, originally developed and piloted at CBS seven years ago, also stars Virginia Madsen as Rhonda Wunch, CDC scientist Thomas Wunch’s (Kyle Schmid) mother who is close to her son and wants him to stay home in Babylon.

Rounding out the pilot’s regular cast are Ritchie Coster as Ernie Wunch, Thomas’ father and Rhonda’s husband, a former cop who most people thought ran away to Daytona; and Yul Vazquez as Chief of Police Matt Conte.
