*Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown has signed on for the NBC comedy pilot, “The Pro,” co-starring and executive produced by Rob Lowe.

Lowe as former tennis doubles champion “Big Ben” Bertrahm, whose career flame-out and misguided investments have left him working as the pro at a tennis and golf club, where he tries to hustle and charm his way back into America’s 1%.

Over the weekend, Lowe announced Mel B.’s casting via Twitter, writing, “It’s a casting avalanche! Spice Girl Mel B joins us on The Pro.”

The project stems from a development deal NBC inked with Lowe in the summer when he was finalizing his upcoming exit from “Parks And Recreation.”

Brown will also return as a judge on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” which kicks off in May. She’s currently a coach on “The Voice Kids: Australia,” which will premiere Down Under later this year.
