And the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star wouldn’t have it any other way. To hear her tell it, her past as asn exotic dancer could provide the edge she needs to walk away with the disco ball.
“In my twenties I was an exotic dancer…I’m going to bring it,” Leakes explained to Jimmy Kimmel. “I plan to win a lot of the men votes!”
Apparently, Leakes’ partner, Tony Dovolani, is on board with her strategy as he dropped hints that he wants to learn some of her past moves.
Taking a more serious tone, Leakes plans to let her competitive nature come out as she outlined her method for winning.
“My strategy is to bring a lot of soul and a lot of personality, which I don’t think a lot of those Olympic athlete people have,” she said. “I want to make sure that I bring energy and pop!”
Leakes won’t have to wait long to unleash her energy and pop. The reality TV star will compete against Billy Dee Williams, Candace Cameron Bure, Cody Simpson, Danica McKellar, Diana Nyad, James Maslow, Drew Carey, Amy Purdy and Sean Avery when “DWTS” kicks off it’s 18th season on March 24 on ABC.
